Oh this is exciting!

This is not the tutorial I had planned on writing. Well, yes, it was on my list but it was not my plan to have this be the next one. But see, what happened was that I was having so much fun planning my Healing with Superfoods Workshop and all the experimenting that was going on in my kitchen, that I decided this was the next one that was due. And so here it is. Well not totally here. It will be available for purchase starting next Thursday, April 1st.

Our first group Healing with Everyday Superfoods challenge will commence on Sunday, April 18th which will give you heaps of time to collect supplies and gear up for a way of eating that will undoubtedly change the way you feel and potentially, the way you eat for the rest of your life.  If my other guides are Awesome-Town than this one is like the mayor of Awesome-Town.

More than the cacaos and the gojis (though we do talk about those), I also address the broccolis and the flax seeds, the greens and the mushrooms.

Even just one year ago,I wouldn’t have known where to start in writing this tutorial. I knew that there were amazing healthy benefits to leafy greens and other green vegetables, which is how I came up with the idea for my Green Smoothie Cleanse. I was just beginning to dabble in things like spirulina and thanks to a ten day juice feast, I knew about the powers of bee products like pollen. What got to me with all that I was reading and all that I was learning was that there were some amazingly healing foods out there and that I wanted to learn more. Through this site, I have been able to share with you my new discoveries- whether it be the amazing deliciousness of raw cacao, the odours of fresh aloe leaf or the creaminess of sea moss in a smoothie.

What was missing for me, in everything I was reading, was the inherent lack of practicality. Some might argue that being able to throw everything into a blender, stir it together, and drink your meal down is the ultimate in practical. True, it might be for some people. But what about the people who have families to feed, what about the people who want to sit down to a meal with others, what about the people who get genuine pleasure from being in the kitchen and finding creative ways to blend the raw super foods, cooked super foods and plain old whole, unprocessed foods into delicious meals. What about me?

This tutorial addresses the following:

  • The Definition Of A Superfood
  • Benefits of Whole Foods
  • Food As Fuel
  • Food As Medicine
  • Hippocratic Medicine
  • Challenges with Food Guides and Diets
  • Calories versus Nutrition
  • Nutritional Density
  • Benefits Of Raw

That is what this tutorial offers. 60+ pages of concise, interesting, at times humourous insight into healing with great food. I demonstrate ways to incorporate superfoods into everyday eating. What are the superfoods that made the cut? That you have to wait and find out about. What I can tell you is that I tried to use a lot of foods that are easy to find and inexpensive and of course had to throw in some super powers too. We also dive deep into healing herbs. When medicine tastes this good, you won’t be able to get enough. Your body will have no choice but to heal! As with all the tutorials, you will receive a 5 day meal plan that incorporates superfoods and superherbs into every meal and snack with lots of additional recipes to mix and match to suit your schedule and tastes. You’ll be all set!

Now I want this one to spread near and far, here and there, across the globe and back. I want everyone to get the message that we can let food be our medicine. For this reason, I am offering free copies. Oodles of free copies. Would you like one?

Details of how to win a copy are posted here!

Oh this is going to be fun!
