This detox workshop really is fab!
I took part in the inaugural Fab Detox in November 2011, which was a really great experience--I would encourage anyone to check it out. It comes along with a great detox guide, daily e-mail tips, and tons of support through e-mail, twitter, and live video chats. With all of that guidance and support, I wondered what more a workshop could have to offer. Well, it turns out that it has a whole lot of goodness to offer. Meghan has done an incredible job of putting together a workshop that is completely complementary to the fab detox program without being repetitive. It would also be a great stand-alone workshop for people who are curious about what detoxing is all about but don't feel quite ready to commit to a program yet. Once you hear Meghan explain why it's so important to detox, you'll want to jump right in. Meghan makes it all make sense without ever judging where you are or what your daily habits currently are. Like all of Meghan's workshops, she strikes the perfect balance between theory and practice. First, she gives you just the right amount of information to understand why it is important to detoxify our bodies and can point you in all the right directions to fabulous resources if you want to find out more. And then, she demos a wide variety of recipes so that you can see how simple they are to put together and taste how incredibly delicious they are. In this workshop, we tried a detoxifying juice, smoothie, bread, pesto, salad, and a mint chocolate thimble for dessert! Recipes you will want to use everyday (especially that chocolate mint)! Meghan's straightforward approach to nutrition never fails, and her honest enthusiasm and passion for creating beautiful, delicious, healthful meals is contagious. The fab detox power workshop is a great addition to Meghan's offerings. I would recommend it to anyone!
