This is  a favourite workshop of the Love In The Kitchen Team. Raw food is a vital part of of health. How can we keep ourselves alive and vital without eating food that is alive and vital? This workshop explores the power and simplicity of raw food, discussing the raw food lifestyle but more so, encouraging guests to get more raw food into their current diet. No need to go all the way when every bit helps.

When it comes to raw foods and super foods like cacao and maca and goji berries- the go-to is always to throw things into a smoothie, but what about having a superfood rich proper meal. What about just getting some raw goodies into our favourite meals?

This two-hour casual demonstration style workshop explores the amazing healing powers of everyday superfoods like broccoli, mushrooms, sprouts and seeds and dives deeper into the true powerhouses like cacao and goji.

You’ll enjoy a tasty raw and superfood packed brunch prepared right before your very eyes during this workshop! As Meghan talks and teaches, she (un)cooks up a storm using the foods you’ll be learning about. How awesome is that?

Topics to be discussed include

  • Easy ways to integrate these healing raw foods into everyday eating
  • Learn how amazing these foods are in preventing and/or healing from health challenges
  • Learn how to incorporate raw foods and superfoods into snacks, treats, powerbars, smoothies, dips, dressings and even cookies!
  • Demo on making nut/seed milk, sprouting, fermenting foods, raw wraps and more
  • Sample and abundance of raw and superfood powered delights

  • A Great Saturday

What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday morning!!! I have been home all morning whipping up a nutritional storm and using all my newly bought goodies , going to try them out on the fam later this week. Thank-you. It was an awe inspiring food clinic that I won't soon forget. I have a new love- raw food and it is powerful. Thank-you for such a gentle introduction to a new way of eating.

  • An Absolute Joy

From the minute I walked in to your kitchen I knew we were going to have a good time. The bright, welcoming environment set the tone for the day. Meghan you are an absolute joy. You positively radiate with health and wellness. You clearly talk the talk and walk the walk. Your knowledge is clearly evident but it doesn't come across as judgmental or "all knowing". Your fresh, frank, open personality made it fun. The two hours passed by far too quickly. I could have easily sat there for another couple of hours to chat with you. I will be back and I am bringing my friends! Bravo to you and your staff for igniting the passion for healthy living!

  • Ready for Raw

I signed up for this class because it looked interesting, not because I was really into raw food, but I thought, what the heck, it could be really interesting. By the time I left I was a believer. Delicious and easy. You can't ask for more. Raw food will definitely play a bigger role in my diet. Can't wait to get started!
