It can get complicated when we want to make the switch to a healthier way of eating. Part of that transition, for many people, is learning to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet, or perhaps eliminating meat/animal products all together. Let’s do that healthfully shall we? If you want to make the change for personal health, environmental health or any other reason, it is best to do so being informed. Falling back on bread, pasta potatoes, or sickatating processed soy foods is simply not going to cut it!

In this two hours workshop, we’ll be exploring vegetarian sources of protein, how to make your own milk substitutes, easy tips of making vegetarian and vegan meal more heart and filling and also discover ways to avoid using soy to replace everything.

You’ll enjoy a tasty vegan dinner or brunch prepared right before your very eyes during this workshop! As Meghan talks and teaches, she cooks up a storm using the foods you’ll be learning about. How awesome is that?

Topics to be discussed include

  • Tips for easing the transition
  • Veggie protein sources
  • B12 and vegan diets
  • Avoiding refined foods to maintain balance
  • Easy and delicious meal ideas

  • Inspired

Thanks again for Saturday. I had a great time. I have always made from scratch fresh foods, but been slacking off lately. It's so easy to get caught up in 'convenience foods'. So you have inspired me to do that again.

  • Empowered and excited

I really enjoyed this class, the format is great for being able to try out many new dishes and know how good they are, so that I will be inspired to go and cook them on my own later with the provided instructions.

Meghan was also a fountain of knowledge and was very eager to help answer any questions we had.

    I highly recommend the class.

I loved this experience! Meghan makes cooking and eating well so much fun thanks to her friendly, vibrant, excitable personality.

Sitting around a table with like-minded people, passing around tasty food and learning about vegetarian diets and how to pair food for optimal health and flavour - all of these elements added up to a rewarding experience that makes me wish I could do it all again!

  • It was more than I hoped for!

I enjoyed the Class. Very informative. Answered alot of questions. It got me motivated and inspired. And the food was very tasty and good. 2 hours is not enough. 3 hours would be good. But i could of been there all day. If i lived in Toronto. I would go all the time. Im sorry that i had to leave so rushed out. Could not miss my plane. Glad we had time to eat some desert on the run. It made me sad to go. THANKS a BUNCH Meghan!!
