Meghan’s passion for people, food, and nutrition comes through in everything she does. Her knowledge is astounding, but it is her ability to connect and inspire everyone that is her true gift. In a matter of minutes, Meghan’s engaging teaching style and unique recipes created a wonderful buzz at our local chef series demonstrations. Not only was the end result a hit, but the process of working together was more than enjoyable! Fearless and fun, I have no doubt Meghan will continue creating new ways to inspire those around her to live healthy and delicious lives.

With Meghan’s guidance I’ve been able to see a huge improvement in my training and race results. I loved “Undiet”. It completely changed how I looked at my nutrition. As a team member of Salomon’s Flight Crew and an Ultra trail runner the demands on my body from training and racing are intense. With the knowledge and insights I gained from Meghan’s work I was able to improve my results in my first race of the season by just under 10%. Unlike last year I have remained injury free and have been amazed at how quickly my body now recovers after an intense training session or race. Many thanks Meghan!

“Meghan Telpner.” Her name had come up three different times in three different conversations so I took it as a sign I should Google her. I did, and fell in love. I knew I should be eating better (and in my case, more often – it’s really easy to skip breakfast and work right through lunch), but Meghan’s recommendations didn’t feel like a pile of shoulds. It was fun. It felt like a chat with her in my kitchen. And her recipes and ideas tapped into that creative part of me. The one that likes to make stuff. So I got to feel more healthy but I also got that feeling you get as a kid making a craft (you know what I mean if you got pumped about construction paper and glue sticks). I’m sipping a smoothie as I type this and smiling as I look at it because it’s absolutely the colour of green crayon. Maybe everything Meghan-inspired turns out crafty?

Thank you so much for your book, UnDiet!! I devoured it this week and it’s taken up residence on my kitchen counter as I refer back to the recipes and veggie prep tips. I made your granola recipe this morning with some fresh almond milk. My husband and I both declared it delicious! I have a similar story as far as health issues. I spent a few years in and out of doctor’s offices and hospitals in my early – mid twenties. Then I found a doctor who was also trained in nutrition and it changed the course of my health. You have encouraged and motivated me to take it a few steps further though! Keep sharing — it makes a huge difference!!

Meghan brings a refreshing personality and passion to nutrition. I have never witnessed an approach to nutrition that is so real and so infectiously fun! Meghan creatively inspires us to realize that our approach to nutrition should be natural in its foundation, devoid of strict rules and instead with the flexibility that allows us to lead a healthy lifestyle without the constant pressure of dieting. Absolutely love it!

What do we need today in nutrition?

Fresh ideas, learned insight and the daring to take accepted concepts and expose why we should think differently.

Meghan’s ability to make you understand – then make you salivate – is a much needed blessing we can all benefit from.

I don’t play by the rules, and it is truly exciting to meet and collaborate with someone else who also makes up her own fun and games – and likes to stir the pot too. Meghan’s most special recipe is combining real food with science, nutrition, health care, colourful outfits, self-deprecation, laughter and real life that makes her a shining inspiration. She also has the greatest self-created vocabulary – barftastic, poopershnickled, wowzeriffic…. So, although Meghan’s recipes may be fantastic (make as many of them as you can!), it’s her delivery and attitude that makes Meghan the superhero!

Meghan – you’ve made answering clients’ questions about nutrition easy!
Your knowledge about food and its properties is immense and your delivery is refreshingly honest.
All I have to do is forward one of your videos over, and my previously resistant client will be won over, inspired and motivated. You are now a household (and gym-hold) name for many of us, and we feel lucky to be blessed with such endless education.
A few clients pre-ordered Un-Diet, and certainly I’ll now be trying to catch up! Thank you for your great work.

Reading your “UnDiet” book restored my faith in holistic nutrition specifically (and in humanity as a whole. Truly, your book was that great!)

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciated reading about all the ‘other’ stuff that our health depends on, but that gets sorely overlooked in most nutrition sources. Flossing! Pooping! HAVING FUN! What a breath of fresh air. My only wish now is that “UnDiet” becomes required reading for any nutrition program worth its salt, not to mention a Must Read Text for the entire human race. (Get on it, humanity!) We can all benefit from realizing that vibrant health is so much more than calorie counting, lists of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods, and being able to recite all the differences between saturated and unsaturated fats. Phew! Reading “UnDiet” has been the best thing to happen to me in a while, and that says something, because my life is pretty awesome already. :)

LOVED your book, will recommend it to everyone, and can’t wait to read more amazingness on your blog, FB, Twitter, etc. You rock, Meghan!

I am so happy that I was at the Canadian Holistic Nutrition Conference 2013 on Saturday and saw Meghan in action. I have not been this motivated to take care of myself and others since Feb 2012 when my Dad died and my life turned upside down. I feel like it righted itself over the weekend. I was very emotional listening to her because I could feel how life-changing the moment was. I look forward to future events and am seriously considering taking the Culinary Expert Nutrition Program. Meghan, thank you for being you, loved all of your messages and I will cherish that event forever! xoxo

What can you say about Meghan? She is a cheerleader for healthy living. Undiet is THE manual for whole eating and an absolute necessity for anyone exploring a healthier way to live. Colorful photos, foods and words fill the pages of this super book along with simple, easy-to-prepare recipes that will soon have you forgetting processed cupcakes and chips and becoming a master green smoothie maker. De-toxifying your life has never been easier with Meghan leading the way for you and cheering you on each step. Her enthusiasm for whole living is contagious and will leave you wanting more “Undiet” the minute you finish the book!

In October 2010, I randomly found myself on Meghan’s website and after a couple more visits to her site, a call to Meghan, and approval for vacation time I was signed up for her retreat in St. Lucia.  And am I ever glad that I did!  The retreat was incredible, beautiful, relaxing, energizing and inspiring.  Since the retreat I have joined Meghan and her kitchen team for her 6-week cooking class, in addition to a number of other workshops. And I have loved every minute of it!  How can you not? With Meghan’s expert knowledge, passion and not to mention her infectious spirit, you can’t help but get excited about vegetables (all of them… even the ones I didn’t like before).

Meghan is passionate about health, but it’s the way she communicates this passion with thoughtful intention that caught my attention.  The way Meghan speaks about food, fuel and healing has been incredibly impactful for me.  And since the retreat I have never been in a better place to make the changes that I’ve been making.  Meghan has imparted so much knowledge and know-how that nourishing myself is just plain easy (and delicious!).  I have come along way since the beginning of the year, and feel that Meghan and her team have been a huge catalyst of this mental and physical overhaul.  I think back to how I randomly landed on her website and am very grateful for that moment… serendipitous.  Thank you!

I just wanted to share that I have been making changes based on the UnDiet book. It hasn’t always been perfect, but I feel SOOOO much better after two weeks. Struggling with weight, all my life I have been part of a weight-loss support group for two years. After the first three months I hit a plateau and have stayed there since. I would be up and down every week (within 6 lbs). The positive is that I never went back up to where I was.

This morning I stepped on the scale and am happy to say it read: 199lbs! I have not been below 200 lbs since high school (almost 30 years ago!). I’m not feeling hungry at all and love the foods I’m trying.

The larger struggle is trying to get hubby and my kids (aged 12, 5 and 2) on board. They are very very picky eaters and are not open to trying new things, except the baby who eats almost any thing. Even she is starting to turn her nose up at certain things as she watches her two older brothers. Hubby doesn’t know any veges except potatoes! So, I will continue to work towards integrating various things into the meals. Tonight I’m having a family “meeting” to come up with a meal plan for next week! If nothing else, it will end the frustration every day at 4pm of “oh, what should we have for dinner tonight?”

Thanks you thank you thank you for making this a fun and easy experience! If you’re in Nova Scotia, look me up!!!!

I recently had an opportunity to read your article about Irish Moss. Such a thorough, articulate and responsible review! Irish Moss as it is commonly called in this new day, is a near perfect food and one of the Ancestral Foods used by my Ancestors long ago. I live in a coastal community here in Nova Scotia, Canada. So much responsible research has been done on this goodness from the Sea and you are in the forefront of leading the way to explaining Whole Foods vs the fears by Pharmaceutical Companies. I honour your work and message, continue in the great work you are doing!
