Veggie Transition Workshop

Veggie Transition Workshop

Veggie Transition

It can get complicated when we want to make the switch to a healthier way of eating. Part of that transition, for many people, is learning how to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet, or perhaps eliminating meat/animal products all together.

If you want to make the change for personal health, environmental health or any other reason, it is best to do so being informed. Falling back on bread, pasta potatoes, or processed soy foods is simply not going to cut it!

In this course, we’ll be exploring vegetarian sources of protein, how to make your own milk substitutes, easy tips to making vegetarian and vegan meals more hearty and filling and also discover ways to avoid using soy to replace everything.

As Meghan talks and teaches, she cooks up a storm using the foods you’ll be learning about. How awesome is that?

This course is ideal for those looking to transition to a more plant-based, heath supportive diet, as well as people who have been veg or vegan for years and need some inspiration or want to learn how to support this style of eating with more whole food.

Topics explored include:

  • Tips for easing the transition
  • Veggie protein sources
  • B12 and vegan diets
  • Avoiding refined foods to maintain balance
  • Easy and delicious meal ideas

Thanks again for Saturday. I had a great time. I have always
made from scratch fresh foods, but been slacking off lately.
It’s so easy to get caught up in ‘convenience foods’. So you
have inspired me to do that again.
