Showing UpI am a Toronto-based nutritionist, author, founder of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition and The Clubhouse Community Hub.

I began in the field of nutrition in 2008 and over the years have grown a one-of-a-kind online community.

With a humour and energy-driven approach to living an awesome, healthy life I’ve been blessed with a global community that sticks around and celebrates all that I create and each other.

The Academy of Culinary Nutrition as graduated more than 3,000 students, celebrates more than 500 independent instructors and in 2023 we launched our new membership hub The Clubhouse.

I have written two bestselling health/cookbooks, UnDiet: Eat Your Way to Vibrant Health (2013) and The UnDiet Cookbook (2015)which won Gold at the Taste Canada Awards.

I’ve been featured in Forbes, and ranked as one of the top 100 female entrepreneurs in Canada. I live in Toronto with my husband Josh Gitalis, a functional medicine practitioner, and our son.

Meghan Telpner is a Toronto-based nutritionist, bestselling author, and founder of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. She’s written two bestselling, award winning books: UnDiet: Eat Your Way to Vibrant Health (2013) and The UnDiet Cookbook (2015). Meghan’s success in cultivating a global community of Culinary Nutrition Experts and her unique approach to business has garnered her multiple features in Forbes, and ranked her as one of the top 100 female entrepreneurs in Canada. As a multi-passionate person Meghan also offers courses and writings on coherence, financial freedom and quality of life metrics to help empower others to define and create the life of their dreams. When not in front of a screen pushing buttons, Meghan can be found doing macrame, sewing her own clothes, growing food in her backyard and sitting on her front porch drinking an elixir in practice mode for full retirement.

The Timeline

2006: I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, an autoimmune, inflammatory bowel disease. Without a solution available through conventional medicine, I took on an integrative approach to healing that included yoga, meditation, acupuncture, herbal remedies and a transition to a real food diet. 2007: My experience healing  inspired me to return to school and study holistic nutrition.

2008: I began my business as a nutritionist doing consulting, teaching intimate cooking classes in my loft in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood, and began writing my blog, then called “Making Love In The Kitchen”.

2011: We ran the first in-person round of the Culinary Nutrition Expert Program and began to experiment with online courses.

2013: UnDiet : Eat Your Way To Vibrant Heath was released and became a #1 bestseller! UnDiet: Eat Your Way To Vibrant Health UnDiet hit #1 on Amazon’s bestseller list, #2 in Globe and Mail and was named 2013 Best Health and Nutrition Book by Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

2014: I launched the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. 

2015: The UnDiet Cookbook (Appetite by Random House, 2015) was released and became a #1 bestseller and won gold at the Taste Canada Awards! It was also a #1 bestseller on Amazon and in the Globe and Mail and Toronto Star.

2016: Profiled in Forbes for the incredible business that I have built with a health-loving community at its core, and was named one of the Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs in Canada by PROFIT.

2017: I became a mom!

2018: I launched a new opportunity graduates of my school to become Academy of CulinaryNutrition Certified Instructors.

2021: I began a journey to spread the word about an amazing tool we can all use to achieve inner harmony in just 30 seconds.

2023: I launched a new community hub, The Clubhouse, as a space for both Culinary Nutrition Experts and the super humans from our wider community to join together to learn, share and inspire each other with kindness and joy.
