Herbal Mocha Latte

Description

This simple recipe can be used with any nut or seed milk of your choice and any herbal tea blend that is currently rocking your world. A great substitute to your usual caffeinated latte.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups yogi tea or other herbal tea blend
  • 1/2 cup  nut or seed milk
  • 1 tsp  vanilla extract or 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla bean
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 23 tbsp unprocessed raw cocoa
  • 5 organic fair trade coffee beans
  • raw honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Place tea, nut/seed milk, vanilla, cocoa, coffee beans, Irish moss, and raw honey in a blender and mix.
  2. Pour mix through strainer to remove any coffee bean grounds.
  3. Sip, sip away while writing your farewell letter to your formerly fave coffee shop.

Notes

If your blender has a gradual speed increase and vents steam, you can do this with warm tea. If not, blend together at a cooler temperature and then heat on the stove- otherwise the steam could cause the blender lid to burst off).
