In this video, Dr. Dean Ornish discusses the basics of good nutrition, good health and the body's innate ability to heal itself and be healthy when it is given what it needs to do so- by way of good food, rest, exercise and love. In this talk, taken from a TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conference, Dr. Ornish discusses the foundation of our health.
I often remind my own clients that the way we feel today is a direct result of what we did yesterday. If we want to change how we feel tomorrow, we have to do something about it today. Dr. Ornish sums up this philosophy by saying that often, in our society, "we are mopping up the floor without turning off the faucet". Very true words.
