The Best Detox Benefit Of All

Still a few spots left in our awesometown Fab Uplift Detox workshop this Saturday! Toronto peeps, want me to cook you brunch? Yeah you do. Come play! For my out of town friends- why not play along online? Our Fab Uplift Detox is a fully coached online program. FUNderwear!

It's been a bit of a detox themed week here on the Love in the Kitchen blog, no? Being so excited about the next round of our amazingly awesometown Fab Uplift Detox program, we can't HELP but be chitchatting about detox power.

Sometimes it's easy to forget just why detoxes are so important for our bods.  Yes, you may shed the junk in the trunk and yes you will feel and look amazing. You will glow, you will feel light on your toes.  But most importantly, detoxing is about making your body a strong powerhouse against illness and disease.  It is about giving your body a fighting chance and making it the healthiest it can be.  Eliminating the toxins from within and building your immune system are truly the best benefits from detoxing, no two ways about it.

Now, the Fab Uplift Detox isn't one of those silly depriving type cleanses.  This detox is a delicious and tummy filling experience, a fresh start.  It is the beginning of great things on your journey to abundant health.

So- just how important is it to get our bodies in fighting shape against illness and disease? We'll let our clinical nutritionist superhero Josh and the hunky Mr. Kale fill you in on that one.

In Josh's own words:

When it comes to life , there is really only one thing we can be sure about, and that is death. And when death eventually does arrive, for any living organism, the circle of life brings the organism back down to earth.

What is it that brings organisms back down to earth? It is mold, fungus, parasites, bacteria, and viruses. These are the decomposers of the world.

As I discussed in my interview with Mr. Kale, most of the time it doesn’t matter what germ you’re exposed to. What matters is how well equipped you are to fight it. In other words, the strength of your immune system.

There you have it.  Extra wise words from Mr. Kale at the end there- couldn't of said it better myself.

Question of the Day: Why would participating in the Fab Uplift Detox be beneficial to you?

Have I mentioned how excited I am about the Fab Uplift Detox? Okay, you get the point.  But being at your most healthful IS exciting, so we are offering one lucker reader the chance to win a spot in the program!

Very interesting vidio about the yellow leaf on the kale plant, my hair kept turning a bile yellow Colour ,and couldn't figure out why, kept driving the hairdresser and me nuts trying to figure it out. Josh has been working with me in a recovery from an illness that involved my liver and we have been doing a major detox program, and believe me the body can do some smelly things in the process, but when I went to the hair dresser the other day we both commented that my hair was returning to it's silver Colour. Also the bloating in my belly is down, and the fogginess is leaving my head. I still have a long way to go but each day is better, and I am loving that it is spring time and renewal of life. I found the vidio of the yellow leaf and my yellowing hair an interesting comparison. Sometimes it's only after you go through a detox that you realize where you have been. Loved the picture of Josh and his kale plant, it's like someone gave him a dozen red roses, but this is better as kale heals you from the inside out, while the roses heal your spirt. Must go find some of both, they are both important in life. Cheers and have a good day.
  3. I would love to participate in the Fab Uplift Detox. I have heard so much about the detoxes you run and they sounds amazing. In January I made a goal/ new year's resolutions to do a detox this year and the Fab Uplift Detox would be a perfect way to complete my resolution.

The fab detox would be very beneficial for me and anyone. It gives our bodies a chance to clean out and rest. It helps eliminate all kinds of toxins that are hanging around, making us feel crummy or lethargic.

Well Ms. Meghan, your question couldn't have come at a better time. I've just arrived home from my yoga class and saw your post. During class I was practically in tears on my mat. I won't bore you with the details, but I realized something has to change. I think the Fab Uplift Detox would be a good place to start. Wait, I have started, I was at yoga class... I guess the program would be the next best step! BTW Josh's kale looks an awful lot like Sideshow Bob. He should hurry up and eat it before Mr. Kale does something Simpsonsesque!

I can't think of a better way to break my new juicer in (it just arrived yesterday!). I must try to get to Toronto to see Josh... I have to find a way to pack in as much calcium in a day without taking a pill (or eating tons of dairy)to combat my osteopenia... while being mindful of my thyroid and anemia... So much to work on; wouldn't it be nice to start with a detoxed system?
  7. The BEST #detox benefit (nope, it's not shedding the trunk junk!) http://t.co/TCMfO0yj

I'm a bit nervous about detoxing, it never seems like a pleasant thing to do. Your fab uplift detox caught my attention and I want to give it a shot. It seems practical and natural. I'm on this journey to get myself healthy and strong. The main reason for that is for my parents and grandma, who suffer from preventable health related issues, and rely on prescription drugs to manage their conditions. Its painful to watch when I know life could be better for them. I'm on the road to getting healthy and eating right. Through making dietary changes I've lost weight and will continue to educate myself on healthful living. I would like to be a part of your detox program as it will further help me on this journey. My ultimate goal it to get myself together, and then use my life to make a difference in my parents and grandma. If they see the changes in my life, I know they'll will take me seriously and make changes themselves. What you say has to match the life you live in order for you to make a difference. This detox program is not just about me, but my family.

So I can try and keep up with the kids :) If I could only bottle their energy.
