When was the last time you woke up in the morning and instead of either dreading what the day would bring or being excited about what was to come, you actually took the time to reflect on the goodness bits that remain pretty sweetly constant?
See- it's easy, oh so easy, to get caught up in the fleeting moments- the good ones and the bad ones, to recognize that for the most part we are blessed to be stressed about whatever it is we are stressing over.
Yes- things do continue to grow and change, and again for that, I am super excited and wonderfully thankful.
When it gets busy, and of course when it's not- take some time to enjoy it. Smile at the sweetness, the simplicity, and kindness of those you spend your time with. Indulge in the fresh food beginning to show its colours at the markets. Play outside, garden, paint, cook, and dance.
There are few certainties that we can count on, but what I know for sure is that the more gratitude you offer out for the goodness you take the time to notice, the more flooded you are with opportunities beyond your wildest dreams, gifts you didn't know you were in need of, and more all 'round goodness that comes right on in. That means that the stresses of the day only serve to challenge us to always see the world through our own heart shaped glasses.
