Hot fun in the summer has kept me busy playing up North and living the UnDiet life. I can't get enough of our new Stand Up Paddle Boards. We go out on the lake every night. It's like taking an evening walk, but you paddle... on water. So nothing like an evening walk really but this is a seriously soothing activity if you have a chance- give it a try!
It has been some time since we've done a round up and there have been some seriously awesome posts that are well worth sharing.
I am so touched that even five months post book launch, the buzz continues and people are still happily and hungrily eating up all that UnDiet has to offer.
In true summer style, the tour has hit the road- over the past few weeks, UnDiet has visited Quebec, Australia, Nevada and the Caribbean. Phew, this book gets around! If you've missed out on all the excitement, look no further- your round-up is below.
One quickie before we get into the round up. As you have seen either in your inbox or in my last blog post- we have launched my brand shiny new Summer finale online course Smoothie On Up, Juice It On Down. It will be available just until August 16th so if your summer sipping needs a little inspiration- please check it out!
Now the round up!
Yummy Mummy Club
July 18th, 2013
The Yummy Mummy Club has always been a kick butt community for cool mamas to come together and discuss all things health, family, style and more- run by awesome former Much Music Vj Erica Ehm. Living and eating well can be extra stressful for parents who always want the best for their little ones but have to contend with so much conflicting information. Hailey Eisen shares her refreshing perspective on this and, of course, ties in UnDiet!
Good Girl Gone Green
July 23rd, 2013
What's this? A girl crush on ME!? I couldn't have ever imagined it would be so, but the lovely Stephanie over at Good Girl Gone Green has delivered. Awesome girl crush aside, it's truly inspiring to see Stephanie's commitment to environmentalism and green living and we were thrilled to read her glowing review of UnDiet.
July 24th, 2013
It's a sweet thing when the universe invites people to cross our paths in many ways- like Bryonie Wise, a superb yoga teacher and writer from Toronto, who happened to attend a few of my classes back in the day. How delighted I was to learn she wanted to interview me for a review of UnDiet in Elephant Journal.
Things My Belly Likes
July 25th, 2013
I've said it before- my ideal interview with Cat of Things My Belly Likes would be on location- in HER location, the Caribbean! Cat has been a great supporter of UnDiet (particular the Almond Power Cookies) and we were thrilled to read her full review of the book. So, Cat- about that in-person interview...
Words and Cake
August 6th, 2013
Could the stars truly have aligned so perfectly, that a blogger who loves both her cake AND her books would review UnDiet? It's true! Li over at Words and Cake from Australia shared the Spiced Apple Carrot Muffins (very appropriate choice for a lover of baking) and her thoughts on UnDiet.
Go Dairy Free
August 8th, 2013
When it comes to the whole healthy living blogging scene, Alisa Fleming goes way back (since 2005 to be exact- and in internet world, that's a long time)! Since I've been playing the internet game for a few years myself, Alisa and I go waaay back to when I was writing my first blog called The Healthy Cookie about my healing journey from Crohn's (sorry- it's not available anymore). As she rarely reviews books anymore, it was truly an honour to have her write such sweet words about UnDiet.
Have a beautiful weekend!
p.s. Make sure you play along in our Summer Sipping contest for a chance to win a spot in our brand shiny new online Smoothie and Juicing workshop!
