What's Really Wrong with Your Health?

I've been there. I am sure you have been too at one point or another. You  know- where you feel like you're doing everything right, everything according to plan and yet you still don't feel well. You eat all the right foods, do everything your doctor or natural health care rock star suggests and still it seems like it is all continuing to unravel. As a health cheer leader, I am forever telling my own story and offering guidance for others. Sometimes, I need to hear it too- my words but in someone else's voice.

A few months ago, I was approached by the amazing Dr. Lissa Rankin about sharing my post- 10 Things I Learned Healing and Incurable Disease (now available as an Mp3 download lecture), to share with her Owning Pink Community. Her TEDX talk kinda made me breathe a great big exhale and so today- as I sit in my home office, putting the final touches on my book, I really wanted to share this. Please watch now or set aside 20 minutes at some point in your day. It's worth it.

Sometimes- eating all the right things, and drinking all the right smoothies and juices- just isn't enough if we're living our lives on an incomplete or perhaps even the wrong path. Allow this to be a little Spring reminder to brave the leap and chase your dreams. As my Costa Rica Retreat sold 19 spots in eight days, and I finish my first book, I am reminded of the power of being on our right path.

    Okay, please tell me that you styled your fridge for that picture - I sure would have needed to remove a bunch of stuff and set up the pretty still life we see here!

    Good message, and I'm not trying to find fault - so much of what Lissa says is true. However, after a year of research and she shows wind turbines as representative of a healthy environment? I know the studies come back that they are not posing human health problems, but stand 3km away from one and you'll say otherwise. She just needs to change that slide, that's all. I don't really don't mean to be critical... it's just something I know a little something about. I guess we all have our expertise. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate her message.

    Wooow could you please please please do a "how to make your fridge completely awesometown-ly organized" post? or share tips on how to keep washed and trimmed vegetables fresh? (i see you have some water-bathing-stuff going on there...)
