Caribbean-Inspired Spiced Mocktail Recipe on MeghanTV
Back with another fun-filled episode of MeghanTV!, sharing an extremely delicious mocktail recipe.
This week I take to the kitchen to tackle one of the questions that comes up so often in my UnDiet Book Club: What do we do when the summer patio calls our names, everyone is slugging back booze, and we don’t want to (or at least not as much)?
This isn’t to say that a glass of wine here and there isn’t okay. Of course it is (though I’d recommend being a little discerning and seeking out some biodynamic/organic options).
What we sometimes forget is the simple truth that alcohol is always optional. If abstaining means you won’t have the good time you’re after, well then there are some much bigger things we need to look at. And if your social plans aren’t any fun sober, then it just might be time to start making different kinds of plans. If we can’t celebrate the moment, while being fully present for it, well, what are we celebrating?
In this week’s MeghanTV, I have for you one of my most favourite bevvy recipes: the Caribbean-Inspired Spiced Mocktail Recipe.
Watch the episode as I share the main benefits of these carefully-selected ingredients and how they can support our health and actually have the complete opposite effects of alcoholic drinks.

Hi Meghan!
Love this! I’m wondering where you get your Kombucha? Or if you make your own? I’m in a small town in Saskatchewan sbout 2.5 hrs from a major city so I stock up on store bought when I can and they’re all flavoured. I haven’t been able to find an unflavoured one. I’m anxious to try this! Thanks!!
I love this video idea! And looks super yummy – I’ve been looking for a gingerale alternative to avoid the 30g of sugar hit, and this mocktail is it. Thanks!
Hillary, have you tried GTs kombucha Gingerade flavour? It’s amazing! Totally perfect sub. for ginger ale when you don’t have time to make an delicious mocktail yourself.
Just watched this video, it’s fantastic! I LOVE MeghanTV – it’s just easier to learn / remember when you can see and hear the instructions, along with having them written out.
Kombucha in a mocktail – such an awesome idea! I’m going to try that .. once the sun decides to come out ;)
