  1. Sounds yummy! Can you recommend a brand or two of turmeric that has been tested and you trust not to contain heavy metals?

  2. I’ve heard in countless food videos and from culinary and health experts that black pepper is needed to activate the curcumin in the turmeric. The body doesn’t absorb turmeric well, so you have to add black pepper to it. They even sell mixes with turmeric and black pepper for this reason. It’s very important, but I didn’t see it addressed in your article.
