  1. Right on!!! I think our tongues are the culprits. We need to retrain them so they enjoy whole foods, that have not been heavily factory processed. I went pretty close to a “cold turkey” process in my retraining. It was hard for several weeks, but now I am loving the fact that much of my food skips the factory process.

  2. Love this post Meghan! My general rule of thumb, with a few exceptions, is that I don’t buy anything with a barcode. :) And when I do, I read the ingredients. It’s amazing the difference in the same product – such as coconut milk! (and cans of tomatoes).

  5. My mantra when it comes to ingredients is “if you can’t pronounce the name, you probably shouldn’t be eating it”.
