  1. I encourage all potential students to read this article for straight shooting, unbiased and honest advice on nutritional education programs. Well done Megan.

  2. I took Meghan’s Get Your Biz Rockin Course and it was exceptional. She has great information and presentation and goes above and beyond. (And I’ve taken a number of business & mentor courses.) I am confident this is reflective of everything Meghan offers. It’s powerful to work with someone who wants you to succeed.

  3. I have realised after a lot of soul searching that I want to pursue a career in nutrition, I want to be a cook for retreats. Your article was so helpful, thank you very much. I just have one question, do I take a nutrition course or start applying based on my experience? I have experience as a cook, cooking at retreats and other places. I have been reading endlessly about nutrition and experimenting with food for 8 years. I obviously can learn more, but do you think I’ll need the initials at the end of my name to be successful?

  4. Thank you the article was really inspiring. I know what l want: I want to be a health advisor. I want to help people to increase their health and welbeing physicaly aswell as mentaly. I want them to find their optimum path to healthy living that is sustainable and help people to have a healthy relationship to themselves and their surroundings. I want a holistic approach and develop a scientific background to back me up. I want to be the positive change in people’s life. I believe learning more about nutrition is the first step. Nutrition is my passion, but I don’t want to just see one perspective or step into one extreme point of view. I want to be exposed to all points of view so that my clients can choose their own individual path into a healther diet and living (eg. if vegetarian or not). I want to enable people to take their own path -everything else might not be sustainable. Your article helped me to understand better what I want but I’m still overwhelmed by all those different programmes that are out there. How can I find the perfect fit for me?

  5. Hi! A very honest and upbeat article if i may say! Im from India, and planning to move to canada. I have done two diploma courses in India and work as a nutritionist here. I want to study and be eligible to work in the same industry after moving to Toronto. My core strength is being a good counsellor with a lot of patience and understanding and meal planning. Could you please guide me on suitable courses? Im visiting Toronto end of may for passport stamping! Would love to get a feedback or an appointment for same. Thank you.

  6. Hello Meghan. I have been reading your article on what to study if I am interested in nutrition. I am a certified health coach by Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and I am interested and really hope to go further. I am interested in nutrition and how whole foods heal our bodies but I am also interested in learning and applying supplements, herbs etc. I am having hard time deciding what to do..going between the Registered Holistic Nutritionist at Edison Institute of Nutrition and the Functional Nutrition Certification Program. My daughter has PANDAS, an autoimmune disorder associated with strep, so I would like to concentrate on children with autoimmune disorders.

  7. Hi Meghan! This is a great article. I’m very interested in a career in nutrition, but I would love your opinion on something. I’m not 100% sure what direction I want to take exactly with a career in nutrition. So I’m wondering, do you think a 4-month holistic nutrition certificate program at Pacific Rim College would be a good place to start, or a 3-year diploma program at the same college? I have no prior education since high school (I’m almost 25 years old). I have no idea which one would be best, do you have any advice on that?? Thank you so much!

  8. Really good article, thanks! Do you know of any school (preferably from the Vancouver area) that offers a degree for these types of courses? I am not from Canada but would love to study there. However, I cannot afford it right now so I’m looking for a scholarship. But they are usually for master degree at the least, I haven’t seen any for this type of studies.
